We are going to be looking at the conjugation of the verbs Être and Avoir. Learn these by heart because they are going to be essential when we look at past tenses (passé compose).

Les Conjugaisons des Verbes (Verb Conjugation): Le Présent pour les verbes ER, IR et RE (Present Tense for ER, IR and RE ‘regular’ verbs).

For the regular verbs, remove the er and add the following highlighted endings for the respective subjects;

E.g. choisir (to choose)

E.g.entendre (to hear)

re verbs are quite tricky because most of them are irregular so their endings don't follow a specific pattern.

For the regular verbs, remove the re and add the following highlighted endings for the respective subjects (note that for il, elle and on we do not add anything);
